OUR GOALS

Together, our goal is to promote peace and stability in Sierra Leone by using this digital platform to crowd source funding, coordinate and promote peace messages and activities across Sierra Leone. This will include Community Sensitization promoting peace messages, Inter district learning experience sharing on promoting the culture of peace, Media engagement on peace messages, friendly marches promoting peace etc. The overall objective is to have 1 million registered unifiers.

STEPS TO BECOMING A MEMBER OF UNIFIERS SL

1. Make payment through mobile money transfer or online (most suitable for international members living overseas

2. Register your membership online to get your unique Unifiers SL membership number

3. Participate in Unifier Movement SL activities

4. Members are also encouraged to volunteer their skills to us

5. Register your interest in volunteering

OUR ACTIVITIES

Key achievements since our last meeting

  • Engaged two mobile phone networks (The network will organize an online registration of members.

  • Contract signed with an tech-engineering company to develop and host online payment platform.

  • Contract signed with one mobile phone company – a second company currently on due diligence on UM.

  • Held meetings in Port Loko, Bo, Kenema, Makeni and committees established serving as District Unifiers SL.

  • Started work with the National Council of paramount chiefs on hate speech.
